Description:

Tobacco pipe made of porcelain with figural bowl, without heel and slightly rising stem without stub. Bowl head of a player of the Commedia dell'Arte (paljas or Pierrot) with hat with wavy edge, the front standing upright on a scarf with bow on the forehead. Bowl base narrow sides ruff on a smooth circular bust. Bowl underside symmetrically arranged leaves and toothed edges. Painting in natural colours with a thin purple hat edge and multicolour and gilding on the leaves. Original silver clamp lid with dome shape with cut edge and pierced with heart, clover, diamond and shovel motif, double chained lock chain on a silver stem cuff.
