The above title represents an extensive article recently completed by Don Duco. It describes the history of a particular type of ceramic that was especially popular in Germany, used for making pipes among other things. Eugenius Leyhn appears to be the driving force behind this product, but the town of Ruhla has played an important role in its continuation/final production?.
