Pipe auction at Drouot

Wednesday 20 March 2013 the public sale of the Mazaleyrat collection took place at Drouot auction house in Paris. Daniel Mazaleyrat was a French collector for over 40 years, focusing on figural pipes, both in clay and porcelain. The Amsterdam Pipe Museum was present and was able to acquire a fine selection. Among them the famous factories Gambier, Fiolet and Duméril, but also several unknown makers, such as the illustrated judge.
