Happy New Year

It was usual for previous generations to present cigarettes as a gift at Christmas. Large packages with an appropriate print were made, such as this box of Amsterdam-made Turkish cigarettes from the 1950s. Nowadays, of course, that is no longer a habit, but as a museum piece from the collection of the Amsterdam Pipe Museum, it reflects this era.
