Calyx image of the mark advertisement of the Gouda pipe maker and pipe merchant Bastiaan Overwesel consisting of the the crowned letter B in an oval and framed by the lettering "BASTIAEN OVERWESEL IN GOUDA". Crowned by the Gouda coat of arms with "PER ASPERA AD ASTRA" below. Mark held by two standing lions placed on a decorative base with a ribbon underneath with "DE OPREGTE FABRICQ VAN DE GOUDSE PIJPEN” (the best workshop for Gouda pipes). Bunches of pipes between the Gouda coat of arms and the lion on ribban the inscription "GOUDSE PIJPEN".
