Description:
Tobacco pipe made of clay with oval Gouda bowl, heel and straight stem. Bowl opening milling. Bowl stem side embossed under a crown with five braces coat of arms of the stadholder of Orange in an oval ribbon with inscription "HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE", elongated leaves on the outside of the text ribbon drawn from a palm branch, presented by standing crowned lions placed on a narrow lambrequin with the inscription "VIVAT ORANIE" (long live the House of Orange) along the top edge. Heel left side mark Gouda coat of arms invalidated by adding three dots on the smooth middle part. |
