Description:

Tobacco pipe made of porcelain with stummel bowl, heel and short straight insertion stem with three windings round the stem end. Bowl front in oval double gold band with stars in monochrome or encre the chine a rolling landscape with under a tree on the right a farm and a mill in the offing, left in the foreground persons at a water, clouds colored with yellow fond. Heel intaglio size number "8". Stem end under glaze blue stripe. Mounting in silver with valve cover with pearl fillet around and sawn edge in which ovals, retaining spring as closure. Original ball-shaped silver moist bag with a lock chain to the bowl.
