Description:

Tobacco pipe of cast clay with figural bowl, sloping bottom without heel and ascending stem with stub. Bowl bust of Anacreon with a ribbon in his hair with a vine in between, the round bust lined with a chain with an oval medallion in the center. Complete with bowl lid with ceramic eyelet and brass chain to a ceramic locking eyelet at the bottom of the stem. Stem bottom pressed model number "165". Entirely covered with red lacquer and details heightened with gold.
