Phillips beeldt twee voorbeelden van deze voorstelling af, degene toegeschreven aan Obrisset (ook in het British Museum), is ongesigneerd zoals onze doos, de tweede in de verzameling van de auteur is gesigneerd met de initialen van de penningmaker Simon Lambelet (sterft 1727) uit Brunswijk die ook in hoorn werkte. Doos gemaakt ter herdenking van de stichting van het Russische leger. |
