Description:

Pipe case of coquia nut with plump oval bowl shape, kind of heel marking and straight stem, crosscut side with a hinged lid, the stem in four parts that fall into each other with screw thread. Bowlw part decorated with longitudinal lines with narrow fields with horizontal stripes, on the bowl three times a spiral surrounded by five circle holes, the lid a single spiral with circle holes, the stem with concentric rings in which bands with stripes and two bands with spirals surrounded by circle holes. Plate hinge made of brass in a circular shape on both flap halves, closed with a spring-loaded bracket that catches behind a hook.

Comments
Hoewel niet elegant van vorm een magnifiek stukje draaiwerk in coquianoot en uitzonderlijk gezien de constructie van het voorwerp en de functie. Hoewel in serie gemaakt is nog geen tweede exemplaar bekend.
