Description:

Pipe case made of wood with oval-shaped bowl part with valve and long stem. Bowl part and stem inlaid with brass, interspersed with copper, on the valve and on the stem side a flowerpot with a branch with two and three blooming flowers, small rectangular pieces of mother-of-pearl on the hinge edges, on hinge "ANNO 1776". Stem a brass lock plate on the underside on which engraved a long flowering plant, stem five brass rings, in between brass bands with straight and wavy lines of wound brass wire. Bowl part on top of circular two-headed plate hinge, stem end with a brass knob with rosette shape.
