Description:
Tobacco pipe in meerschaum with raised bag-shaped bowl, lenticular bottom and ascending stem with cuff. Bowl front in relief crowned coat of arms with a standing wound crowned serpent on the left half, on the right in three parts with a central checkered crossbar with a crowned winged horse in the upper quarter, lower field undecorated, stem at cuff double ring. Original mounting with silver flap lid, the lid in the shape of a pearl crown, central is a Pegasus with raised front legs, silver cuff mounting with locking eye, silver hallmarks on lid ring. |
