Description:
Tobacco pipe of clay with large size bi-conical bowl, heel and straight stem with a disc-shaped knot at five centimeters from the bowl. Bowlopening milling. Bowl decorated with heel mark stamps with LI initials, stem a lily in diamond, heel cut all the way into a knurled shape, three maker's stamps printed on the flat part of the heel, milling around the heel, the knot with slanted millings, over the thickest part of the stem after the lily stamps a band with crossed millings between two concentric circles, followed by constricted semicircular rings and millings. |

| In 1981 noteert Brongers voor dit object een verzekeringswaarde van Dfl. 4000,-, c. 1960 stond de waarde op Dfl 125. Pijp in twee delen gemaakt (en gevonden), een foto van de steelbreuk laat zien dat de twee delen afgevlakt waren en met een ring aan elkaar gelijmd werden. |
