| Catalogus "Tobacco and Smoking in Art" (Raleigh, 1960) toont op p 48 soortgelijke figuur (nr 32=37). Beschrijving vermeldt: Figure holds implement to his mouth as if smoking a cigar. Brongers spreekt van een Sukia of medicijnman met korte buisvormige pijp gemaakt uit een vulcanisch gesteente. In 1981 noteert Brongers als verzekeringswaarde Dfl. 4000,-. Tribale Kunst, IV-3, herfst 2018, p 4. Dit exemplaar. |
