Description:
Tobacco pipe of wood with Ulm-shaped bowl with a slender oval-shape, heel marking and slightly flattened stem without stub. Bowl front carved in relief in a shield with pointed bottom in which a radiant sun the inscription "PYRAMIDES MARENGO AUSTERLITZ", bowl standing on the right helmeted woman with staff in her hand, a sword on her belt, the left arm raised with a laurel wreath above the text shield, a foot placed on a gun barrel that forms the heel marking. Bowl and stem right armor including a mortar, saber, lances and more. Originally low cylindrical wooden lid with embossed inscription "HONNEUR ET PATRIE" on all sides, silver bands along filt, lid and cuff, the latter with small locking ring. |
