Description:
Tobacco pipe made of wood with Turkish shape bowl after kalmash with hexagonal bowl and slightly protruding rim round the bowl opening, weighted spherical base held by five openwork flutes, the ascending stem with an ornament at the bottom of the bowl, the ornaments end in a curl at the bottom of the stem. Smooth wood finish. Bowl internal sheet iron covered with a white substance. Stem stamped on the right with mark "ML ULM". Original mounting with silver flap lid with flutes and crowned by a ball, silver stub ring with small locking eye. Lid internal label with handwritten collection number "132". |
