Description:
Tobacco pipe made of brass with figural bowl, round bottom without heel and straight stem with smooth oblique mouthpiece. Bowl the seed box of a lotus flower, the top with punctures in which white metal seeds, the funnel-shaped bowl of silver in the farthest corner of it, the pipe stem is the stem of the flower, on which a red copper frog with golden eyes curls at the mouthpiece, a second stem around the pipe stem with a closed red copper lotus bud near the bowl. The stem end is cut diagonally and like a plant stem with seven holes, the stem end is made of silver, the mouthpiece can be screwed off to clean the pipe. |

| Bij het bewegen van de pijp maakt de zaaddoos hetzelfde geluid als een echte doos bij schudden, terwijl de witmetalen zaadjes deels uit het oppervlak tevoorschijn komen. De kikker is het symbool voor geluk, de karakter kaeru (=kikker) wordt tevens als teken voor behouden terugkomst gebruikt, de lotusbloem heeft een algemene positieve betekenis. |
