Tobacco pipe made of clay with large figural bowl, without heel and rising stem with stub. Bowl bust of François Charette de la Contrie (1763-1796) with large brimmed hat with stored front edge and feather with ribbon, bust with uniform collar with embroidery and épaulettes. Bowl underside vines with bird with spread wings that picks up from a bunch of grapes. Painted enamel eyes and eyebrows. |
