Printing block of brass and copper nailed on wood for pipe maker's mark 9 crowned in oblique heraldic shield held by Mercury with wing hat and staff, which seems to fly past the shield and protrudes in the left corner a bunch of three pipes, at the top oval Gouda coat of arms with "GOUDSE PYPE" and "PERASPERA AD ASTRA", below on ribbon "HENDk. LUNENBURG IN GOUDA". Printing block of oak wood with bevelled edges. |
