Box internally in the lid a brass inner plate partly sawn open and with engraving of a standing woman turned to the right with staff and sickle, dressed in a pleated robe, leafy scrolls on top. Cover outside on the left a clown-like man with a woman lying down, on the right a small lake on which a sailing boat, behind the scenes on the left in a room on the left a man, on the right a woman with lifted skirts, on the right a woman at a table holding up a dead chicken, a second woman on the left with a raised stick to hit a cat who is chewing on a giant phallus, the two erotic representations have been sawn and engraved. On the outside, two gallant representations of figures in a landscape, on the left behind the slider a naked Fortuna behind a table on which two dice men, on the right a man at a table, a naked Fortuna is dancing for him. The lid and bottom edges and the sides with continuous leafy vines against a hatched background.
