Description :

Tobacco pipe made of wood with a cilindrical Ulm bowl with a weighted underside, round bottom and a rising stem widening to the end. Bowl front hand carved in relief the coat of arms of the king of France with oval coat of arms between leaves with three French lilies under a crown, below it the four-armed cross of Saint-Michel and Saint-Esprit, bowl bottom French lily, along both sides of the coat of arms armoury, flags, guns, drums and engraved on both sides at the top a ship's masts with a fluttering vane, a lion standing at the base on either side. Stem a stylized fish head with the mouth open at the stub. Original mounting with dome-shaped silver valve cover with a lily cut on the front and stylized leaf motifs all around, simple silver stem mounting with stem holder and small locking ring.
