Description :
Wooden tobacco pipe with trumpet-shaped bowl on a weighted base, round bottom and ascending stem with stub. Bowl bottom in relief seven flutes. Bowl and stem inlaid with small pieces of mother-of-pearl in geometric patterns, bowl front two standing warriors holding a coat of arms with helmet, bowl sides a stylized double-headed eagle, stem two double-headed eagles on both sides. Bowl lined internally with sheet iron. Original mounting with helmet-shaped silver lid with four plumes with a red cut stone in the center, the side of the lid as a visor holder, also a red stone in the mount. Stub plate with stem holder and small silver eyelet. |
