Description :
Tobacco pipe made of earthenware with a strongly flattened oval shape, round underside and rising stem widening into a stub. Bowl left in relief two standing women in pleated robes, the left one with a cornucopia with fruits, the right one with a bowl of flame, on the ground on the left a tree stump, the right bowl side in relief also two standing women, the left one with a basket of flowers, the right one holds up three leaves, the front of the bowl at the top, a mask with grapes in its hair, the stem-side leaf motifs. Stem on both sides embossed palmet. Original mounting with gilded bronze valve cover with an S-shaped closure and worked edges, stem ring with printed relief decoration, original rising wooden stem with horned end piece with short flexible part and button mouthpiece, original green locking cord. |
