Description :

Tobacco pipe made of earthenware with figural bowl, underside without marking and slightly rising short stem with stub. Bowl head of a man with inconspicuous hat that forms the bowl opening, simple modeling. Paintings in creamy-white on which the mouth, eyes and eyebrows are set with purple glaze, an ocher mask for the eyes, green glaze stripes on the hat edge. Stem weighted with grunts that suggest a pleated collar, the pleats reinforced with green glaze webs. Printing mould in two parts.
