Description :
| Tabakspijp van aardewerk met conische ketel met figurale voorzijde geplaatst op een vlakke rechthoekige basis, oplopende steel met onopvallende manchet. Ketel voorzijde geboetseerd een man zittend op een krukje, de linkerhand op de buik, de rechterhand aan de rechter slaap. Ketel weerszijden ingekraste concentrische lijnen, ertussen een baan met zigzag lijnen. Steel drie compartimenten met geometrische banden met zigzag lijnen. Voet met plint waarop afwisselend ingedrukte rondjes en kauri's. Manchet overlangs ingekraste lijnen. Rode scherf, zwart afgestookt. |

| Uitgaande van de oorspronkelijke vormgeving van de Ashantipijp is een geheel nieuw concept ontstaan met een geringe gebruikswaarde vanwege de technisch slechte aansluiting van steel naar ketel, ook vanwege het te grote gewicht. |
