Amsterdam 750 Years

To celebrate the 750th anniversary of the city of Amsterdam, we've decorated our shop and facade with banners highlighting this unique event. True Amsterdammers may remember the 700th anniversary. At that time, the Goedewaagen Pipe and Pottery Factory in Gouda released a special commemorative pipe. The original is still in our collection (APM 5.289). Changing attitudes toward smoking now make such a souvenir unthinkable. The celebrations in the coming months will be no less special!
