Comments
| Luff verbleef in Amsterdam en tekende portretten van Rembrandt en andere zeventiende eeuwse schilders in het Rijksmuseum. Bij zijn bezoek aan het Pijpenkabinet raakte hij geinspireerd door de Hollandse kleipijp en besloot op een pijpenkop te tekenen. Heel toepasselijk werd gekozen voor een kop gevonden in de bouwput achter het Rembrandthuis. |
