Description:

Cigar holder made of meerschaum with figural bowl, without heel and up going stem. Bowl bust of a man (Willem Tell?) in three quarter with mustache and beard and romanticized sixteenth century dress in the style of Albrecht Durer, long curly hair over which a leather hood with a floppy pleated hat with large plume, flat collar with a few buttons. Curved amber coloured stem with red rubber protection band around the bite. Original case of wood with brown leather exterior and internal greyish blue velvet and greyish blue silk, gold stamp "B.H. WASMANN JR. (Dutch coat of arms), REGULIERSBREESTRAAT 7, GALERIJ 6 & AMSTEL 8, AMSTERDAM".
